Community involvement
Admission boards understands there is more to a person than their GPA, standardized scores and which track the applicant picked.
The Admission board want to know how connected YOU are to the community you live in, and where you focus your energy and time. That is why it is important to volunteer.
You do not have to volunteer at the same place every year. You can pick different places to get a wider understanding of what your community needs.
Volunteering in all its shapes and forms looks good.
